Position Summary

Oversees the positioning, planning and direction and delivery of Brainshark Applied Breakthrough Communications Solutions Engagements. This includes supporting the sales team by providing solution consultation, supporting the Customer Success Team by providing project management leadership and supervising a small team of consultants.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to understand their business, technical and process requirements to prepare proposals that accurately reflect customer needs and goals while communicating the value of Brainshark methods, processes and services.
  • Development of detailed project plans to ensure the effective planning and management of Professional Services engagements.
  • Allocate and oversee both internal and customer resources to ensure that engagements are completed within committed time, scope and budget.
  • Communicate and publish plans to appropriate involved individuals to ensure each person understands the overall scope of the project and when tasks are required to begin and be completed.
  • Assist in the creation and support of standards, processes and procedures necessary to produce successful projects and assist in working effectively across the organization
  • Implement and supervise the utilization of standard tools, methodologies and technical procedures to ensure quality engagements and adherence to best-practices.
  • Preparation progress reports, and measurements for monitoring of overall project performance.
  • Provide supervision, guidance and feedback to a team of consultants.
  • Schedule and conduct annual reviews with each consultant on the team.
  • Run weekly team meeting for providing training, supervision and communication.
  • Mentor and train new and existing consultants in collaboration with Director of Customer Success
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Director of Customer Success

Web Producer

Description

Reporting to: Director of Multimedia Production

The Web Producer/Developer is responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of all web-oriented materials created by Brainshark services, including custom portals, newsletters, emails, landing pages and microsites.

Responsibilities
  • Implement final site configuration and functions utilizing supplied design elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Post, test and update pages and scripts as necessary
  • Troubleshoot and QC/debug work as necessary/required
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Report project status to Producers on daily basis
  • Realize and allocate suitable timeframes to perform routine tasks
  • Plan and execute project deliverables according to supplied plans and timeframes

Business Development Representative

Position Summary

Brainshark is looking for an energetic, hunter-mentality, phone-a-holic to help us generate qualified prospects for our sales team. We provide uniquely powerful marketing programs to support Business Development efforts -- both following up on leads generated from programs, and your own independent prospecting. Work among a team of peers, where you can leverage one another’s best practices and share ideas as part of a marketing team that is ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities

Develop familiarity with Brainshark’s target market, prospects’ business drivers and strategies to develop intrigue and distinguish Brainshark as a potential solution in the prospect’s mind.

Identify key targets in our proprietary database and initiate contact with appropriate suspects, leveraging research resources to create intrigue, assess their current business methods and position Brainshark’s enterprise solutions.

Leverage all contacts to identify other prospects through referrals Identify decision makers and company goals to position Brainshark appropriately.

Reach out to and follow up with respondents from a variety of marketing programs to initiate conversation, learn current business programs and qualify potential business applications.

Track all activity thoroughly into CRM system (salesforce.com) to support account and management teams. Validate activity and lead qualification reports.

Provide field rep with solid prospect background on role, need and intrigue to ensure high-quality prospect transition into the sales process.

Identify potential opportunities and transition leads to field sales by proactively setting up sales appointments for further qualification discussions.

The successful candidate will have:
  • BS or BA degree and a minimum of 3 years’ business experience in sales and/or a customer-facing role
  • Experience conducting business and building relationships in phone & email, with excellent phone, interpersonal, verbal & written capabilities

SMB Sales Account Executive

Position Summary

Reporting to the SMB Sales Director, responsibilities include; achieving territory revenue quota and assigned market development objectives. Requires software or enterprise sales experience with proven ability to qualify, develop, close and manage assigned territory and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual revenue quota associated with management and development of sales opportunities within assigned territory and or vertical market segment.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing a sales strategy & territory plan including but, not limited to the following: cold calls, customer presentations via web and live, marketing campaigns of Brainshark products & services resulting in new revenue generated in assigned territory.

Customer Success Representative

Join a successful team of Brainshark Customer Success Representatives who assist Customers in their use of Brainshark Enterprise Solutions to meet business communication objectives.

Position Summary

A Customer Success Representative provides world-class telephone and web-based (email/chat/web meeting) consultation, implementation, support and service to Brainshark Customers to expand use of Brainshark within the Customer’s organization.

You will develop a proficiency in the Brainshark application including configuration, usage, workflow, and the knowledge of how to implement and use the Brainshark technology to accomplish specific business tasks. You will be required to maintain the highest level of product knowledge through formalized training and self-education. You will be responsive to and meet the needs of Brainshark Customers. You will provide support directly to the Customer or facilitate that Customer’s introduction to Brainshark staff such as Product Management, Sales or Professional Services when appropriate. You will document each Customer request in the Support tracking system and keep all open issues updated with current status, next steps, and clear ownership of each next step until a final resolution is delivered.

Primary Responsibilities
  • provide how-to support for the Brainshark applications by answering questions asked by Customers and coworkers
  • document each question and answer provided in the support tracking system for future reference by the Customer and coworkers
  • review Customer presentations and deliver feedback on how the Customer can improve the effectiveness of their content

Qualifications

4 year college degree and a working knowledge of Windows and Mac applications; Powerpoint, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Senior Windows / Network Engineer

Brainshark is growing fast and is looking for 2 Senior Windows / Network Engineers to help support our web hosting environment. The position is located in our Waltham, Massachusetts office. The ideal candidate should be able to wear many hats and possess many of the following skills:

Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2003 and 2008)

  • Service management
  • Hardening
  • Disk management
  • Group Policy

IIS hosting (version 7.5)

  • SSL
  • HP server configuration
  • Raid setup
  • Insight manager

Strong VMWare experience in these areas

  • VMotion
  • Configuration

Also:

  • Advanced knowledge of firewalls, routers, load balancers, switches and intrusion detection appliances (Cisco and Juniper)
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting LAN/WAN environments as well as performance monitoring and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and capacity to creatively solve problems are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide problem diagnosis and support for Brainshark’s network, systems and applications environment

Technical Support Engineer

Join a successful team of Brainshark Technical Support Engineers who assist Customers in their use of Brainshark Enterprise Solutions to meet business communication objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

A successful candidate will be able to perform the following job duties:

  • Attend all internal training and obtain all available learning and development certifications.
  • Become proficient in the Brainshark application including configuration, usage, workflow and the knowledge of how to implement and use Brainshark technology to accomplish specific business tasks.
  • Develop expertise of Brainshark feature(s) then create and deliver internal training for coworkers.
  • Provide technical support for Brainshark application issues via email, phone, chat and online meetings.
  • Be exceptionally professional, responsive and proactive on every request for support.
  • Triage and identify each support request as one of the following: how to question, enhancement request, product defect report or professional services request.
  • Provide support directly to the Customer or facilitate that Customer’s access to more suitable Brainshark staff when necessary (ie product manager, engineer, professional services consultant).
  • Clearly document the issue and how it was solved in great detail in the support tracking system for future reference by the Customer and coworkers.
  • Keep open issues updated with current status, next steps and clear ownership of each next step.
  • If a product defect is found, then develop workarounds to provide the Customer with immediate relief. Pursue the root cause and facilitate the development of a permanent solution with engineering.
  • Author knowledgebase articles to document technical lessons learned and to document advanced or obscure application features and behaviors.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have at least a 4 year college degree (B.S. preferred) and a minimum of 5 years work experience in a Technical Support or similar role at a high tech company. A successful candidate will have experience using Microsoft Powerpoint and supporting web based applications using Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome and Safari running on Windows, Mac and mobile devices.

The patented system guides you through a step-by-step process, allowing you to instantly transform your content into voice-enriched video presentations.

Share

Your content is only valuable, of course, if you share it! Presentations can be shared as links in an email, posted to social media sites or embedded in blogs or websites. They can also be delivered securely via Brainshark login or from your own portal or learning management system (LMS). Because your presentations are hosted by Brainshark, they can then be accessed by your audiences anytime, on-demand from desktop or mobile devices.

Track

Once your presentations are viewed, you can track the viewing details, including who viewed, what they viewed, when they viewed and even where they viewed. You can receive email alerts with the viewing data or log in to your Brainshark account to access online dashboards and reports. Brainshark’s powerful tracking capabilities enable you to measure the effectiveness of your communications and prioritize follow-up activity with viewers.

Enrich

With Brainshark, you can update and enrich your presentations at any time – extending the value and benefits of each communication.

You can easily add to an existing presentation by uploading additional PowerPoints, documents, video clips or photos within the same presentation or by including live web pages right into a presentation. You can also enrich presentations by attaching files/documents that viewers can download, inserting interactive questions (polls, surveys or test questions), adding background music, and more.

Manage

As a Brainshark enterprise customer, you can collaborate with others on content production by copying or merging content between presentations, inviting “guests” to add their voice or slides to your presentation, or personalizing presentations by adding or substituting your own custom opening or closing slides.
