VP Corporate and Business Development

Kate is responsible for corporate and business development at Brainshark, increasing revenue through strategic partnerships as well as adding complementary products and services. Prior to Brainshark, Kate was the VP of Corporate Development at The FeedRoom, an online video platform, where she focused on acquisitions and partnerships. During her tenure, she led the purchase of ClearStory Systems and ultimately the sale of The FeedRoom to KIT Digital. Prior to The FeedRoom, Kate was Director of Corporate Development at Open Text, a content management software company, where she worked on the acquisitions of Hummingbird, Momentum Systems and Artesia. Kate started her software career at Centra Software, a live eLearning and collaboration software platform, where she recruited and managed strategic partners including Cisco, Siebel, Peoplesoft, Documentum and Deloitte. Prior to joining the software industry, Kate was a software investment banker at Alex Brown.

Kate earned her BA from Williams College and her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
