Video marketing is hot these days. Social media marketing? That’s pretty darn hot too.
So it’s only natural that the two would come together – and boy have they. As Unruly’s Phil Townend writes, 2013 was a huge year for social video, with new trends popping up all across the marketing landscape. It’s not just high-budget ads anymore either; investments in content marketing have opened up a whole world of opportunities for today’s business.

It’s late December, things are winding down, and the time has come to take stock of the year that was and look forward to celebrating the arrival of 2014. As anyone who grew up in a cold-weather state can tell you, snow definitely has its share of pros and cons.
For example – sledding? Hours of fun! Shoveling… not so much.
One byproduct of wintery weather that most kids would rate the highest, however, is that wonderful miracle of nature known as the Snow Day. As a kid growing up in New England, I can tell you there was nothing better than waking up to fresh powder on the ground and an unexpected day off from school.
