The Brainshark Content Portal is an online and mobile content management portal that provides enhanced organization and access to Brainshark presentations and other content. Sales reps, partners and other audiences can quickly find the content they need for informal training and internal communications, as well as prepare and organize content for prospecting and customer communications. The portal is optimized for computer, tablet or smartphone access for anytime, anywhere use.
Support for Multiple Content Types
The Content Portal makes it easy to find and utilize Brainshark video presentations along with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and .pdf documents. This means that your sales reps, marketing teams, channel partners and other audiences can quickly search and access your most important content assets from a single, secure, mobile-ready repository.
Because the Content Portal follows the permission structure set up for your organization in Brainshark On-Demand™, users only have access to the content they’re supposed to see. This means you can use the Content Portal to serve multiple constituencies – field sales, channel sales and partners, for example – without concern that irrelevant or sensitive material will clutter up the portal for each viewer. And as soon as a new piece of content is ready for distribution, it is made available in the portal for all viewers with the appropriate permissions.
Users can take advantage of the powerful search capabilities of the Content Portal, or browse thumbnails and titles for the most recently updated or added content, then filter their results based on any combination of folder, topic, tags and author. The combination of search and filtering makes it very easy to narrow down the information needed for sales training, meeting preparation, informational updates and more. Users can also sort content by date, title, content popularity and more.
Featured content (designated by system administrators) may be displayed at the top of the portal to ensure that important presentations and other material are prominently displayed to ensure maximum visibility.
Personal Organization and Favorites
Each user can identify content they access frequently or for specific purposes and organize it into their own lists, making it easy to find and save content related to particular customers, verticals, products, sales stages and more. Lists can be changed or eliminated as the user’s needs change. Users can also tag content they use frequently as ‘Favorites’ for quick access at any time.
Landing Page & Content Sharing
Once a content asset is selected, the user is brought to its landing page, where the specific presentation or document can be accessed and viewed (along with any additional attachments). If permitted, users can also share links to the content via social media or email, and optionally rate or add/read comments about it. The landing page also includes links to related content.
