Brainsharks SlideShark App Wins Gold Stevie Award in 2013 International Business Awards Program
WALTHAM, Mass. — August 27, 2013 — Brainshark, Inc., the leading sales enablement platform provider, today announced that its SlideShark app – for showing PowerPoints properly from the iPad and iPhone – won a “Gold”-level Stevie® Award in the 10th Annual International Business Awards (IBAs). SlideShark earned the highest ranking in the “Apps: Utilities & Services” category.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2013 IBAs received entries from more than 50 nations and territories.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations in virtually every industry were submitted this year.

SlideShark enables iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users to do what was previously impossible: view and present PowerPoints the way they were meant to be seen – with fonts, animations, graphics, hyperlinks and videos intact. The app, available in a business version as well, also serves as a platform to securely distribute, track and manage presentations in the cloud.
In particular, the IBAs recognized Brainshark’s SlideShark 3.0 update, unveiled in March, including its groundbreaking broadcasting capability. With SlideShark Broadcasting, mobile users can broadcast their presentations, live and intact, over the Web and invite others to follow along in real time – an important industry first. The SlideShark 3.0 update also introduced the ability for presenters to draw on and annotate their slides.
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 250 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
