Brainshark’s SlideShark App Wins Two ‘Gold’ Stevies in 2013 American Business Awards – Continuing its Winning Streak in Prestigious Program

WALTHAM, Mass. — September 24, 2013 — Brainshark, Inc., the leading sales enablement platform provider, today announced that its SlideShark app – for showing PowerPoints properly from the iPad and iPhone – won two Gold-level Stevie® Awards in the 11th annual American Business Awards (ABAs) program. SlideShark received the highest honors in the “Apps: Utilities & Services” and “Best New Product or Service: Software – Mobile On-Demand Application” categories.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations.

Brainshark was among an elite group of companies to earn two Gold Stevie Awards at the recent ABAs ceremony. This honor continues Brainshark’s winning streak in the prestigious business awards program, coming on the heels of:

  • SlideShark taking home a Gold Stevie in the International Business Awards last month; and
  • SlideShark also winning two Gold Stevies in the ABAs last year.

More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in the ABAs this year. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.

This year’s program honored SlideShark for the iPhone, in particular. The free app – also available on the iPad and iPod touch – lets users show PowerPoints the way they’re meant to be seen: with fonts, animations, graphics, hyperlinks and videos intact. iPhone users can zoom in on slide content using standard “pinch” gestures, project presentations onto a larger screen or TV, broadcast their presentations – live and intact – over the Web and more. Business upgrade versions are also available.
