Brainshark Announces 2011 Sharkie Award Winners, Recognizing Outstanding Use of Multimedia in Business Communications
WALTHAM, Mass. — March 23, 2011 — Brainshark, Inc., the leader in online and mobile video presentations, today announced the winners of the third annual Sharkie Awards. These awards honor individuals and organizations that have demonstrated excellence in their use of Brainshark to improve business communications and deliver value to their audiences.
Brainshark received more than 150 entries for consideration in this year’s competition. Entries were evaluated on several dimensions including organization, clarity, narration and aesthetics, as well as on how well they leveraged Brainshark’s capabilities – such as incorporating video, surveys and polls, attachments and more within presentations. This year, as companies increasingly use Brainshark to communicate with on-the-go users and support mobile initiatives, a new “best mobile presentation” category was added – in recognition of content whose visual effects, delivery and length were best designed to engage a mobile audience.
