Discover the Secret to Win-Win Communications [Video presentation]

Collaborating in the workplace, at home, in school or even with friends is essential.  However, getting along with everyone to achieve harmony and your desired goals isn’t always so straight forward. Have you ever met someone who frustrates you at every turn?  Uh oh. Guess what? You're part of the issue too. You don’t get them. They don’t get you.

So how do you break through when you have a mess like that? If you work together, it only makes sense to figure out how to get it right with each other.  After all, you’re likely to spend more time with co-workers than with your family each day.

Guess what else? If you’re waiting around for someone else to change, it’s not going to happen. You need to take the first step – flex your style to communicate in a way that resonates with your audience. If you don’t adjust your style to their preferences, you won’t get your way anyway. If you do, you’ll be surprised at how much progress you can make.

One of our Learning Provider PartnersLeader's Lens just created these tips on on communication style flexing. If you have taken Meyers-Briggs MBTI or DiSC, it's your five minute taste of the behavior styles.  Try it out. What do you have to lose? As a matter of fact they provide you with a “ Learning Style Cheat Sheet” or attachment that you can download and keep as a reference.  Feel free to view  all of Leader’s Lens’ presentations on myBrainshark.   They will bring you  communication and messaging strategies that will help boost your leadership skills and make working in groups a lot more productive and enjoyable.
