Brainshark has been a lifesaver.

I work for a healthcare IT startup called Practice Fusion. We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area and provide a free, web-based electronic health record (EHR) system to more than 150,000 medical professionals in every state in the US. The federal government is currently implementing a (pretty confusing and intricate) incentive program to encourage providers to adopt and use EHR systems. I have used Brainshark over the past few months to effectively simplify and communicate the most important aspects of the government program to thousands of users to make sure that they understand and are able to achieve its requirements.

Brainshark has made our company nimble and efficient despite the confusing and difficult subject matter. I have eight live Brainshark presentations that have been viewed over 6000 times in aggregate. Although this number is impressive, most important is that it represents incredible value and extremely solid efficiency. I made these eight presentations at no cost in a matter of hours and with no internal or external assistance. This translates to extremely minimal effort with extraordinary results. I have come across no other tool that enabled creation of such an incredible product in so short a timeframe.

Rapid Implementation Case Study

After a month of collecting data on a key action our users needed to take to earn their government incentives, we found that adherence was low. We needed to create a resource that would educate our users on how to achieve adherence and it needed to be deployed in a matter of hours. Our traditional way of developing educational resources required many days and many participants.

Within two hours, I was able to develop a brief presentation, write the audio, and record a two-minute long presentation. Within a week, over one thousand users had viewed the presentation, learned the appropriate action to take, and had taken it. This type of agility was not possible prior to using Brainshark.

Many of our communications campaigns require elegant resources to be developed rapidly. With over 150,000 users, we have a responsibility for these campaigns to be highly effective and professional. No other external software has been able to match Brainshark’s capabilities and implement as seamlessly. Not only have our users benefited, but we have learned that users of other EHR systems that are pursuing the same government incentives are also using our resources.

We have integrated Brainshark into a number of our communications campaigns and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
