As a salesperson who meets with prospects and customers face to face to present the latest and greatest, the golden words you want to hear at the end of your presentation (besides “where do I sign?”) is “can you send me those slides?" If the audience wants your slides, it’s a good sign that they were engaged and want to review your pitch.
With the SlideShark App’s new “share” functionality, sales reps have a powerful new tool to send their deck out to anyone who was or wasn’t at the meeting and collect important information on everyone’s viewing activity and level of interest.
When we set out to launch SlideShark, our first goal was to help mobile professionals reliably deliver live PowerPoint presentations on the iPad. To do that, we made sure that animations, fonts, colors, and graphics all played properly on the iPad. We then expanded on this core capability with numerous valuable features, including “share” which lets you send a private link to your slides that can be viewed on-demand by your audience, and then you can track the viewing details!
Here’s how it works:
You present your deck via SlideShark on iPad and get the question “can you send me those slides?”
In response, you tap the “share” icon in SlideShark to send a link to your slides via email
Your audience receives the link and can view the slides online (including all animations!) on their computer, smartphone or tablet
You’re notified by email with viewing details including who viewed, when, for how long, and even which slides were viewed, in what order!*
Coming up soon you’ll also be able to report on these views visually right from within the app too.
*Note: SlideShark free users receive an email notification, but only SlideShark Plus and Team Edition users get this full level of tracking detail.
Check out this new video we put together that guides you through the whole sharing and tracking experience:
