Earlier this month, I wrote about the Imagin8tion Project and included 8 photographs from the Canon Imagin8tion photo contest. That was the first of my New Year’s presentation resolution efforts to “collect great images and find a way to use them in presentations”.
There are many places to look for images and I just came across a 60-second TV advertisement by Nissan. Called the Value of Zero, it was released in 2011 and contains more than 60 images that visually relate to zero, the amount of emissions from the Nissan Leaf. Some of the images were automotive in nature, others were environmental, beautiful, creative or clever. The advertisement is very well executed and features both video and still images. Even though it is fast-paced, it is understated and watchable.
Below are screen shots of some of the most impactful images. They should provide food for thought when thinking about how to portray a concept in your next Brainshark presentation. Here is the spot.
