Author Uses myBrainshark to Create Instructional Kindle Publishing Video

“I LOVE Brainshark because it allows me to get my training videos to anyone regardless of what kind of device they use.”

This month’s featured myBrainshark user is Connie Neal. Connie has made her living writing books since 1990 and has authored 38 books published by popular American publishers like Random House, HarperCollins, and Zondervan. In December of 2011 she went "indie" and began publishing directly via Kindle Direct Publishing on Amazon.

In speaking with other publishers, Connie realized that they were missing step-by-step instructions for the Kindle publishing process. Connie filled this need by using myBrainshark to create the video presentation below. Distributed largely via Word-of-Mouth, Connie’s video establishes her authority as an expert in the Kindle Direct Publishing world, which builds awareness of her books, and which helps her monetize her expertise.

As Connie developed more familiarity with myBrainshark, she began building more sophisticated presentations and expanded her video efforts to include content marketing. Below is another myBrainshark presentation where she combines PowerPoint and video screen capture to create a timely holiday gift-giving video, offering eBooks as easy, affordable Christmas gifts and using her own recently released books as sample purchases.

Thanks for the great myBrainshark examples, Connie!
