How to Add Speaker Photos and Titles to Brainshark Presentations
June 17, 2013

Are you the Brainshark go-to-person in your organization?  The one who is tasked with uploading presentations for all other Brainshark content creators in your company?  Or do you create presentations and then have guest speakers narrate some or all of the content?

If you answered yes any of the questions, you may already know that you can add the guest speaker or content creator’s picture and bio to the presentation you’ve uploaded as long as the person has a Brainshark profile.  But did you know that you can also add presenter photos for individuals who do not have login credentials to your site?

Let me show you how:

  1. Select My Media Library from the Things you can do menu in your Brainshark site.

  2. Select Photos

  3. Click Add Photo

  4. Click Browse to find a JPEG or GIF file (sized at 60X75 pixels)

  5. If desired, change the default image name to the name of the presenter

  6. Click Save

  7. Now enter the Presenter Name (25 character limit) and Presenter Title (40 character limit)

Repeat the process for additional presenters.

Once you have added the presenter photos and titles, you will want to be sure the information shows in the Brainshark player:

  1. Edit the presentation you want to update

  2. Select Manage Slides from the Things you  can do menu

  3. Select Edit beneath the first slide you want to change

  4. Select Use Image Library

  5. Select the photo of the presenter from the dropdown menu (you will see the new image and title)

  6. If appropriate select Apply author to all remaining slides

  7. Click Save

  8. Select Manage Properties from the Things you  can do menu

  9. Select Options and confirm that Presenter photo and bio is checked

  10. Click Save

As always, if you have questions on this or any other Brainshark feature, click the Support tab at the top of the page in your Brainshark site for assistance. And check out the Help & Training site for more tutorials and process documents.
