The holiday season is upon us once again, and we’ve been cooking up a fantastic addition to SlideShark’s bag of presents for presenters around the world. We’re exceptionally proud to announce that as of today, SlideShark Team Edition users (and trialers) will be able to manage, present, share, and track PDF documents in addition to the PowerPoint file-types they’ve already been using.
We’ve recognized that alongside PowerPoint, PDF documents are an important piece to a sales rep’s content arsenal and are often integral to having a productive sales conversation. Providing support for this is a really big step for SlideShark, expanding it from a PowerPoint-focused app to a multi-file presentation and content management solution.
PDF’s are treated much like PowerPoint files in the SlideShark environment, where pages of the PDF will be broken into “slides” so that they can be tracked, hidden, navigated, etc. in the same likeness. Users will have the ability to:
Upload content via the Web, iOS device (“Open In” feature) or through SlideShark’s many integrations with cloud storage providers.
Present content live and dynamically – online or offline.
Use SlideShark’s laser pointer to focus attention.
Make annotations during a presentation.
Hide and/or reorder PDF pages.
Project content to a TV or screen.
Tap to share PDFs via email, Facebook, Twitter and/or LinkedIn.
Track views on shared content, including who viewed the file type, when, from what device, how much was consumed and more.
Ensure version control at the organizational level, as updated files automatically override previous downloads wherever they exist.
