Every year, Training Magazine chooses its Training Top 125, a list of the leading employer-sponsored workforce training and development organizations from nominees across various industries. The 2014 winners include Jiffy Lube, Keller-Williams, CHG Healthcare Services, Mohawk Industries and Capital BlueCross. (For the full list of winners, click here.)
Each company was measured on quantitative (70% of score) and qualitative (30% of score) data. Factors influencing the rankings include training tied to business objectives and demonstrable results. They evaluate:
Training infrastructure and delivery
What was most exciting for Brainshark is that 24 of the Top 125 companies also use Brainshark solutions, including SlideShark. My favorite case study was from Sonic Automotive of Charlotte, N.C.:
“The new Sonic Sales Process and its training is the first significant change in a 100-year-old process of buying a car. Sonic has trained its salespeople to use iPads and iPhones with proprietary applications focused on enhancing the customer experience. Now, instead of putting a car buyer through a stressful ordeal, Sonic has trained its salespeople to tell the customer upfront, “We believe you should lead your own purchase process.” Sonic does not train its salespeople to sell cars; it trains them to help customers buy a car. Results: The buying process is shortened and less stressful for the customer and the salesperson, increased ROI, greater market share, and happier investors.”
Congratulations to Sonic and all the others who made this year’s list!
Nominations for next year’s Training Top 125 will be available this April and are due in September. If your training organization is making an impact, let the Brainshark Customer Community know and we can work with you to submit a nomination.
