Get Your ‘A’ Game On: Introducing the New Brainshark Brand

It’s an exciting time at Brainshark! Today we unveiled our new visual identity, tagline, and positioning that reflects how we help our customers.

Those of you who are familiar with Brainshark might be wondering why we are doing this. Over the last couple of years, the company has evolved toward a focus of helping our customers achieve and beat their sales productivity goals, through technology solutions for training, coaching, and engagement. This is a natural progression for Brainshark, since our content creation engine has been used by thousands of people to power effective and engaging material to enable sales and marketing organizations of all sizes. 

Yet with increased competition, more educated buyers, and (according to The TAS Group), up to 67% of sales reps missing their number, the stakes now are even higher for our customers. Our founder Joe Gustafson and CEO Greg Flynn recognized this shift in the market and have committed the company to solving the sales productivity problem. Our new brand identity is a signal to the marketplace of our commitment to this mission.


As you can see, our traditional blue has been replaced with a new, vibrant red, all-caps typeface. You’ll also note the uniquely formed A’s that appear in the logo – this is a nod to our emphasis on helping our customers create A players. We’ve also introduced a new company tagline: Power Your Content. Power Your Sales. This can be broken down as such:

  • Power Your Content. Brainshark helps you create, distribute, monitor and optimize your content for maximum impact. This is not only a reflection of our strong roots in content creation, but it also represents how we empower ALL content, whether or not it was created with Brainshark.
  • Power Your Sales. With empowered content, Brainshark puts the full power of that content in the hands of sales teams to help them reach their full potential.

In considering this brand change, we gathered input from customers, prospects, employees, analysts and key influencers along every step of the process, and have infused that feedback to create the new brand you see today. While this marks a shift from our previous look and brand position, we at Brainshark remain committed to providing unique, powerful solutions with a superior experience for customers.

We’ve been preparing this unveiling for months and are thrilled to finally share it with you! Customers using the standard portal will see this change in the user interface immediately. We’ve also relaunched our website to clearly articulate how we help customers and provide an enhanced experience, making it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for. Please check it out.
